About Dr. Bindiger

I feel so fortunate to be an orthodontist. Orthodontics does not simply allow me to give people a beautiful smile, it provides me the opportunity to enhance each one of my patients’ overall self-confidence and truly make a difference in their lives. In addition, the ability to form strong bonds with both my patients and their families is an aspect of my job that I really enjoy. I feel the responsibility to provide the best possible care to all of my patients and to provide each patient with the beautiful smile that they have always dreamed of.

Education

I began my dental education by receiving my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. After dental school, I completed a General Practice Residency at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx where I served as Chief Resident as well. My education then continued at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY where I completed a residency and received certification in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. In my final year of residency, I was the chief orthodontic resident at Maimonides. To enhance my orthodontic knowledge and clinical techniques and to stay up to date with all of the new and advanced technology in this exciting and ever-changing field, I attend many continuing education courses, seminars and conferences each year.

Outside The Office

I live with my family in Long Island, NY. I am happily married to my wife Nahva and we have four beautiful daughters: Leora, Miri, Talia and Eliana. When I am not in the office I enjoy playing and following sports, studying Talmud and spending time with my family.
